The Warm Front scheme provides a package of insulation and heating improvements up to £3,500 (or £6,000 where oil, low carbon or renewable technologies are recommended). It is available to support vulnerable groups in, or at risk of, fuel poverty. Warm Front is available only in England, but there are similar schemes available for people living elsewhere in the UK (see below).

In addition to the qualifying benefits listed above, the property you live in must be poorly insulated and/or not have a working central heating system. The grant is available for people who own their own home or rent it from a private landlord.
